HEAP is a federally-funded program that helps low-income people pay the cost of heating their home. This program can also help with the repair or replacement of your furnace, boiler, or other heating components. Low Income Household Water Assistance Program
LIHWAP was established through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act, 2021. The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) helps low income households pay the cost of water and sewer services. The program can assist households who have past due bills (arrears) for water and/or sewer services. An overview of the 2022 LIHWAP Program outlines how the program may help you.
