NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
HEARING OF COMPLAINTS
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Seneca Falls, County of Seneca, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Assessment Office, at 130 Ovid Street, where it may be seen or examined by any interested person until the last Tuesday in May. The Tentative Assessment Roll is also available for viewing on the Seneca County Website: www.co.seneca.ny.us per the requirement of RPTL section 1590 (2).
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll by appointment only on: May 4th, May 9th, May 11th, and May 13th . Please call 315-568-9700 to schedule.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet May 23rd and will extend the schedule and Contesting Dates as needed to hear complaints. The hearing of complaint schedule will vary between the hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Town of Seneca Falls Municipal Building located at: Town Hall – 130 Ovid Street or at the Community Center – 35 Water Street, in said Town, to hear and examine all complaints (in relation to assessment on the application), of any person believing to be aggrieved. The deadline to apply is May 23, 2023.
